Domestic Violence info all women need to know
Updated: 6 days ago

Chris sat down with domestic violence expert Kathryn Hamel, Ph.D. from The Hecht Trauma Institute to learn more about how women can protect themselves from abuse. This is critical information every woman needs to know. In our opinion, it certainly could have helped Gabby Petito, who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, while traveling together in a converted van in Wyoming in August.
Dr. Hamel shares how the "Power Control Wheel" (click on the link below) spells out the various stages of behavior that escalates into violence towards women. Please share this link with those who you think will benefit from seeing this.
In our video, Dr. Hamel also analyzes part of the Aug. 12 Moab police body camera footage of Gabby Petitio and Brian Laundrie, showing how Brian's behavior that we see on that video fits into the Power Control Wheel. Be sure to watch Chris's interview with Dr. Hamel. Click here.
